About TJ Zurzuski

Hi, I’m T.J. Zurzuski, owner of Practical Solutions Bookkeeping and a QuickBooks® ProAdvisor based in Gainesville, Florida. My mission is simple: give business owners clarity, increase profitability, and free up their time.

As much as I enjoy building my business, what matters just as much is who I am as a person. When you hire a bookkeeper, you’re not just outsourcing a task—you’re bringing in a partner. That’s how I approach every client relationship.

At my core, I’m a family man first. I have a young son who means everything to me—he’s my drive. His mother is my best friend and biggest supporter. Their happiness and security are what push me to show up and perform at a high level every day.

Professionally, I bring experience from both the corporate and small business worlds. I managed a $52 million P&L for five years, then went on to co-run a small business where I oversaw operations and handled the books in QuickBooks Online while managing up to 13 independent contractors.

I understand the reality of running a business—the long days, the constant decisions, and the pressure to keep everything moving. I also understand what matters and what doesn’t. Trying to manage operations while keeping books accurate is a losing battle for most owners—I’ve lived it.
